Yesterday, December 20, we attended the opening of the pilgrim hostel of La Pobla Llarga located in Av. de Valencia 11, Bajo. The act was attended by members of the Association of Friends of the Camino de Santiago de la Comunitat Valenciana and the local corporation headed by the Mayoress Neus Garrigues who commented that she was not aware of the pilgrims passing through the town until she began to watch them pass from her office. The idea of making a hostel, a place of rest for the pilgrims, arose in response to the call of the Association to promote the hospitality of the pilgrim, to cut the kilometers of the route.

He believes that the pilgrims will be comfortable in the hostel because they have prepared it with great love. The whole municipal corporation agreed on its realization.

He also believes that it will promote trade in the town and in addition the name of La Pobla Llarga will be known in all the countries of origin of the pilgrims.

A 10 for the Town Hall of La Pobla Llarga. And we warn, that possibly it will be used in these next days by pilgrims from Canada, Austria and France, (as far as we know).
